Want to see how the
WMLL fields were built back in 1964?
Thanks to Tom Schorr from Wells Print
& Digital, our host for the WMLL website, we are now able to
bring you a slide presentation of the actual construction of the
Major and Senior diamonds at WMLL back in 1964. Tom was
able to work with You Tube and convert our Power Point
presentation into a video for viewing over the internet.
The slides in the presentation were donated to WMLL by Art
Peterson, former WMLL Board President and District 4 Little
League Administrator.

Meet the WMLL Board Member
& Staff
Check out our new WMLL website page
featuring the photos and backgrounds of all the league's
Board of Director members. These are the folks who donate
many hours each year to make the league run and keep it growing.
They each serve a three year term and are elected at the Annual
Meeting in October. The Board has 15 voting members, with
five up for election each year.

Profiles
It also takes a dedicated staff to keep
our operation running smoothly every day of the season.
Its a challenging job, as WMLL is open 7 days a week during the
regular season and Fall Ball. There is also quite a bit of
prep time before the season, as well as clean up after Fall
Ball. Our hats off to this dedicated group for a job well
done. Click Here

WMLL CHALLENGER LEAGUE A HUGE SUCCESS!
***Two Major Sponsors Emerge for 2010 Season***
Many thanks to Rob Andringa and
the RBC Wealth Mgt team for stepping up and donating
$2500 as a major sponsor of the WMLL Challenger League
for 2010. Funds were raised at a half-time youth
shootout at the Feb 9 Badger-Illinois basketball game at
the Kohl Center. WMLL is hoping to double the
number of teams playing Challenger ball this fall.
In addition, we are pleased to welcome back First
Business Bank for their second year of major sponsorship
for the Challenger program with another donation of
$1000. Thanks to both these fine businesses for
"stepping up to the plate" for kids with disabilities!!
The
inaugural 2009 league for children with disabilities was
a GREAT SUCCESS!! This league was covered by
WMTV
Chanel 15 and was featured on the front page of
The
Wisconsin State Journal! Thanks to
First Business
Bank for their monetary support of our inaugural season.

Challenger Buddy
Wants More!!!
We speak quite often
about the role sports can play in forming a lifetime of
memories, friendships and the teaching of life's
lessons. To think that this small experience,
shared by Athlete Katy Goldschmidt and Buddy Danny
Zimmerman during West Madison Little League's inaugural
Challenger Division season could have such an impact on
this young man's life, is awesome!
